London based New Zealand Folk Pop Songstress Michelle Nadia continues the legacy of singer songwriters Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon and Carole King.

Michelle recorded her critically acclaimed debut album ‘Firefly’ with producer Nic Manders at Bruce Lynch’s Boat Shed studio in Bayswater, New Zealand.

In New Zealand Michelle’s 'Stars' video plays on Juice TV. She has also made television appearances on TVNZ's Good Morning and Juice TV's 'Live at the Wintergarden'. 'Firefly' the album can be heard on Air New Zealand’s Inflight Entertainment for all international flights and has also been featured on New Zealand Itunes New & Noteworthy, Jim Mora's Radio New Zealand National Music Talk and Kiwi FM where it was IAN Indie Album of the Week.

In the UK Michelle's music has been featured on Radio 2's Graham Norton, Radio 2's Bob Harris Sunday, Q Radio, Record of the Day and Music Week Presents. Michelle's album ‘Firefly’ was BBC Essex Album of the Week and was praised as 'The album of the year' by Kengsington and Chelsea Today. Songs from ‘Firefly’ are on the Caffѐ Nero Playlist and Michelle regularly tours Caffѐ Neros having been Caffѐ Nero Artist of the Month.

Michelle has performed live and been interviewed on New Zealand National Radio, Kiwi FM, BBC Radio Cornwall, BBC Radio Bristol, BBC Radio Manchester, BBC Radio Solent, BBC Radio Cambridge and BBC Radio Essex.

Recent UK gigs for Michelle include playing the Caffѐ Nero Imagesound Stage at Cornbury Festival in a festival line up which included James Morrison, Katzenjammer, Elvis Costello and Jools Holland. She has also played support for platinum selling artist Kate Walsh at The Stables, Milton Keynes.
